Growing up with Disney we all have wished to be a part of the fairy tale. Have you ever thought about what will happen if one of them came true?
This exactly happened with Shelby Sewell-Lopez when she adopted a stray cat from East Texas in 2018. They named the cat Duchess as she was a beautiful white elegant looking cat. When she was adopted, Duchess had many medical issues like a hernia, parasites on her skin, and her hair falling out.
According to Shelby – “Through all of the rehabilitating, she kept her calm demeanor, and a beautiful cat emerged. She is unbothered by everything except the vacuum cleaner!”
One day they found Duchess in the closet which seemed like a mouse later discovered as a kitten. They thought that the cat was spayed and did not take into account that she could be pregnant but boy was they wrong.
Duchess gave birth to three kittens first Berlioz then Marie and Toulouse. When the owners thought the birth was over there came the fourth kitten Blue. Despite having a rough past Duchess is very affectionate towards her kitten and takes care of them. She never leaves their sides even when the kittens are older and have started exploring the house.
The owners later realized that the kittens looked just like the characters from The Aristocats, Hence they named them accordingly
Even the genders matched with them ao they named them retrospectively – Marie, Toulouse, and Berlioz.
“Although Blue is not an official Aristocat, he is the most affectionate and definitely steals most of the attention,” says Shelby.
The owners decided to keep all of the kittens as they did not want to separate them.
