The ongoing trials of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard left many shocked with the amount of information that has come out about the couple and their life. Despite all the drama with Disney and Warner brothers cutting ties with Johnny, fans are praising Dior for standing by the actor.
This all came to light when Johnny Depp filed a defamation case against Amber Heard for falsely accusing him of domestic abuse. The actor claimed that Amber’s false accusations resulted in him losing movies. Allegedly Disney fired Johnny from the movie in Pirates of the Caribbean and Gellert Grindelwald Fantastic Beasts and The Secrets of Dumbledore. According to his agent, Depp would have received more than $22 Million for pirates of the Caribbean 6.
Depp’s defamation lawsuit read: “The op-ed [Heard’s article] depended on the central premise that Ms. Heard was a domestic abuse victim and that Mr. Depp perpetrated domestic violence against her.”
It all happened when Amber wrote a piece for The Washington Post in which she explained domestic violence and how she is a survivor of it.
The majority of the public seems to be on Johnny’s side after hearing about the case. Many fans are not happy with the Decision of Disney and Warner Bros to fire Johnny from the movies over unproved charges. People are using #ThankYouDior for always standing with Johnny even with all the things going on. Because Dior has just not stood with the actor it has also kept his work going by featuring him in promotional materials for Sauvage, a special fragrance.
