Town in Iceland Paints 3D Zebra Crosswalk To Slow Down Speeding Cars

Over the years traffic has become a major concern for most towns. Since 2008, deaths of pedestrians has increased to more than 6000 fatalities per year. Though there can be a number of reasons for fatalities between pedestrians, unsafe road crossings shouldn’t be an option. While countries have been dealing with the traffic problems in their own ways, Iceland has come up with an impressive and creative solution for increasing road safety for pedestrians.
