Jennifer Lawrence is not usually someone you would expect to make a style statement at any red-carpet event. While the 32-year-old does wear some extremely stylish outfits, they are often subdued and more elegant in nature when compared to some of the looks her peers in the industry pull off at such events. However, at the 2022 Gotham Awards, that was not the case. The Red Sparrow star rocked a Dior dress that dropped a lot of jaws.
A Stunning Black Dress

Lawrence bought her fashion A-game to the Gotham Awards with the help of stylist Kate Young. The Causeway star was invited on stage to present the award for the best feature which is when everyone got a glimpse of her stunning dress in all its glory. The mother-of-one wore a black Dior dress which was extremely minimalistic in nature. The dress featured a scooped neckline and an A-Line flair which exuded old-money vibes. To tie the outfit together, Lawrence paired it with Manolo Blahnik pumps and a diamond-studded choker. A bright red lipstick added a pop of color to an otherwise monochromatic outfit.

Jennifer Lawrence has an extremely good relationship with the house of Dior. The two parties started working together in 2013 and since have collaborated to put together some unforgettable fashion moments. Over the years, Lawrence has been spotted wearing Dior at a number of red-carpet events and the Gotham Awards was the latest collaboration between Lawrence and Dior. The bond between the two runs so deep that Dior was her brand of choice to make a dress for her wedding day.

Jennifer Lawrence and Dior’s most iconic moment on the red carpet was when she wore a cream dress that featured a gorgeous voluminous skirt which reportedly had a price tag of $4 million. It was designed by Raf Simons for Christian Dior Haute Couture. It was one of Simmons’ final looks for the collection that season.
